SYNOPSIS: A nameless cannabis delivery guy delivers his much needed medication to stressed-out New Yorkers in this character-driven web series. High Maintenance was created by husband and wife team Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld. They produce the series with their BFF Russell Gregory as Janky Clown Productions.
Almost all of the episodes in this character-driven web series are named after an unseen peripheral character that someone in the episode mentions. The characters are meant to be relevant, regardless of whether or not the viewer engages in similar activities. This web series is shot throughout various neighborhoods in Brooklyn and each episode is between five and twelve minutes in length.
Arguably the funniest Web Series on the net, ‘High Maintenance’ follows the same free-flowing structure of (HBO’s greatest) sitcom ‘Louie’. Equally hilarious and dramatic, occasionally dark, and consistently smart, this is a Web Series of the highest calibre. There are no caricatures, no simple resolutions, or broad jokes. It’s meticulously made and shows huge heart. Each character is clearly defined and there is never a dull moment. I cannot recommend this enough!!!
